Grant Review Copilot · For foundations

Part of AI Agents & Automation

A reviewer brief for every application, grounded in your own grant records.

Grant Review Copilot reads applications, prior awards, and reporting history from the grants management system you already use, then drafts a consistent reviewer brief with links back to the source. Your staff make every funding decision.

Who it is for

For grant teams that rebuild every review packet by hand.

  • Community and private foundations whose reviewers search records, attachments, and past awards before every docket.
  • Program staff who want every application summarized against the same information, every cycle.
  • Foundations on any grants management system or CRM. Yours stays the system of record; we connect read-only through its supported API or an agreed export, proven in discovery.

How reviewers use it

Five steps, from one application to the whole cycle.

  1. Select

Open an application. The copilot loads the organization, its history, and the attachments.

  2. Analyze

A short summary, key facts, prior funding, reporting context, and what is missing or inconsistent.

  3. Ask

Ask questions in plain language. Answers come from your records, with links to the source.

  4. Brief

Generate the standard reviewer brief, ready for internal review and the docket.

  5. Cycle

Ask across the whole program: amounts requested, geography, populations served, and gaps.

What you get

A working copilot for one grant program, evaluated before anyone relies on it.

Process and data map

Your current review flow, the records and fields that matter, and the reviewer brief you want.

Read-only connection

Secure read access to the grant records the pilot needs. Nothing is written back.

Grant Review Copilot

The reviewer experience in Copilot Studio or Power Apps, in Microsoft 365 and Teams where it helps.

Grounded reviewer brief

Your template, filled from your records, with a source reference for each fact.

Grant-cycle questions

An agreed set of questions across every application in the program.

Evaluation report

Accuracy, grounding, and completeness checked on a representative set, plus the time to prepare a brief before and with the copilot.

Admin documentation

Architecture, connectors, flows, instructions, known limits, and a support runbook.

Working session

Hands-on training for your reviewers and administrators.

How it is built

Microsoft-native, inside your tenant.

Built on the same Microsoft agent architecture we run our own company on: Copilot Studio for the reviewer experience, Power Automate for the flows, and your grants system as the record.

How Grant Review Copilot is built
How Grant Review Copilot is built. Five steps inside your tenant: your grants system, read-only; a custom connector or export; Power Automate flows; the reviewer copilot in Copilot Studio; and the reviewer brief saved to SharePoint. Across every step: your identities and least privilege, an evaluation set before release, logged errors and response times, and no scoring or funding decisions.

Guardrails

It prepares. Your people decide.

Built in

What it does

  • Answers only from your records and documents, with links to the source
  • Flags missing, conflicting, or incomplete information
  • Runs under your identities, least-privilege access, and tenant policies
  • Logs failures, errors, and response times for review

Your staff stay in charge

Never

What it will not do

  • Approve, reject, rank, or score applications
  • Write back to your grant system in the base pilot
  • Replace your grants management system
  • Reuse your data for any other client

Phases and price

Each phase ends with a decision. Nothing is committed beyond it.

  1. Discovery sprint

Two weeks, $7,500 fixed. Proves we can read your records securely and measures how long a brief takes today. Ends with a written go or no-go, and is credited in full against the pilot if you approve it within 30 days.

  2. Pilot build and evaluation

Four to six weeks, from $35,000 fixed for one grant program. The copilot, the brief, the cycle questions, and the evaluation report.

  3. Run it, optional

Monitoring, evaluation re-runs, and connector and instruction upkeep through Managed AgentOps, from $2,500 per month, month to month.

Microsoft licensing, Copilot Studio or Azure consumption, and any grant system vendor or API fees are separate from the Centered Networks fee, and are identified in discovery.

Microsoft programs may help fund or accelerate eligible engagements; eligibility is confirmed before scope.

After the pilot

Where foundations take it next.

  • Docket and board packets assembled from approved reviewer briefs.
  • Grant report review that summarizes grantee reports and surfaces missing commitments.
  • Portfolio questions across programs, years, geography, and populations.
  • Grantee correspondence drafted for staff to review and send.
  • Write-back of approved notes and status to your grant system.
  • Foundation-wide memory: grounded search across approved historical records.

Common questions.

Does it score or rank applications?

No. It summarizes, finds gaps, and answers questions with links to the source. It does not approve, reject, rank, or score applications. Your staff make every funding decision.

Which grants management systems does it work with?

Your grants management system stays the system of record. We connect read-only through its supported API or an agreed export, and we prove that connection in the two-week discovery sprint before any build is committed.

Does our data leave our Microsoft tenant?

No. It runs in your Microsoft environment under your identities and access rules. Your data is never reused for any other client.

What licensing do we need?

Microsoft licensing, Copilot Studio or Azure consumption, and any fees from your grant system vendor are separate from the Centered Networks fee. Any extra cost is identified in discovery, before the pilot is approved.

Who owns what we build?

You do. Everything built in your tenant, including connectors, flows, instructions, and generated briefs, stays with you if the engagement ends.

Pick one grant program. We will show you the brief.

Tell us which program you would pilot and which grants management system you use. We confirm data access and scope in the discovery sprint, before any build.
